  1. Define different types of  authority such as subject expertise and society position 
  2. Use markers of authority to determine the credibility of sources. 
  3. Recognise that authoritative content maybe packaged formally or in formally and may include audio visual and non print sources. 
Activities
  • Students will be to write a literature review based on different types of authorities and their perspectives on the topic 
  •  They will be expected to assess the content using authoritative markers for various sources found. 
  • Questioning and valueing some various perspectives while maintaining a new open mind when applying knowledge and information acquired.
